My company Tjalda was created 13 years ago with the support of a whole herd of Icelandic horses. Behind the brand name are not only beautiful, high-quality halters handmade in Germany, but much more. Tjalda halters give insight into different horse personalities.

The designs are created in direct exchange with the horses. To do this, I completely immerse myself in the here and now together with the horses and connect with them, without the spoken word.

My understanding of the origin of horses flows directly into my creations. Thus, the design Lopa Love draws attention to the origin of Icelandic horses, at Dancing along with Horses we do not work with our horses, no! We dance with them! And with Power of the Herd, it’s all about the big picture. The connection of the horses with the natural elements, the sky and the earth, the individuals, the uniqueness of each animal, and yet – or precisely because of this – it is possible for them to be so connected to each other.

In the meantime I also use my intuitive work for horse and human when there are difficulties. I would like to devote more space to this activity in the future.

Therefore, I am looking for a successor for my company Tjalda with immediate effect. who would like to take over the expansion of this successful, horse-friendly brand, which has been built up with a lot of marketing know-how, and who puts his heart and soul into it.

If you are interested, I look forward to your message !!!

The call of the soul horse

It seemed a day like any other, a little on the lookout, in retrospect, I was quite with myself. A little dreaming, a little walking always a little forward and then back again, my eyes turned to the sky, my feet on the ground.unprepared for this adventure, because my mind that usually did not allow me this. I did not know my heart was open to be touched……

This is the beginning of the story (you can find the whole story directly in the store article), where it all starts. It is about those “coincidences” of which we do not really suspect anything and yet, they are our inner unfulfilled desires that are hidden deep inside. They become true when we let go of the mind and listen only to our heart.
Here horse and man meet another, each on its own soul path, which then merges on the horse’s nose.
The horse is guided by a detailed soul bird that can be found on one side of the halter. Opposite, man is led to his soul mate across the full moonlight shimmering through an enchanted tree. In addition, the “wheel of fate” which always hits your life when you let go and let life take the wheel. One is simply led by life.
This enchanting story has been translated into the finest soul art and I hope many of your soul horses will be adorned with it.
A story with a lot of heart.
Thanks to www.christinegeier.com and www.eva-frischling.at for this great joint project work.
You can find everything about our cooperation on my page at “about tjalda”.

Have fun with the call !!!

The departure of the warrior of light

Should I stay or should I go? How could I muster the courage to stand by myself this time, to take that crucial step forward?

Is it this fork that will show itself along the way? It’s so hard to decide because I would so love to write the end of the story right now. But then would I even start going?

Are you about to follow the hoofbeat, in tune with seagulls and doves of peace? A brave white horse standing to the side, the warrior galloping blithely on, from darkness ever onward to its light.

These are some lines of text from the new design of the Warrior of Light. This one is one of two new designs I created again with my wonderful team project consisting of Eva Frischling (www.evafrischling.com) and Christine from (christine Geier.com).
The development process went on for months. My idea was to have the Warrior of Light become part of a true hero’s journey. But how should this be implemented? We then decided to run the sides of the halter from dark to light in a “fabulous” story.

The warrior meets the dragon, and is accompanied by an eagle that leads him further to his light, symbolized by the unicorn. A very detailed design with dark trees, the warrior with his peace painting and numerous birds that accompany him on his journey into the light.
Now the warrior is waiting to be carried by many “warriors of light”.

I wish you a lot of fun with this new design, and hope you like it as much as we do.

    Love greetings full of light,
    Simone
PS: Feel free to write me your feedback and read the full story directly in the store article.

Now you can go with your horses in partner look – the Isi sweaters are here! Some of you may have already seen it on the home page. We have developed a very intricate knitting pattern that exactly matches the Icelandic Spring design. Eva Frischling, who not only took the great pictures, but also implemented this idea together with us. For this purpose, the Isi heads were first neatly designed on the PC before knitting could even begin.

The cuddly Isi heads are reproduced in the colors beige and copper just like in the halter design. The colors are ice blue and light olive, which we matched exactly to the nylon and neoprene colors, respectively.
Used is Icelandic Letti Lopi wool and of course they are now available to order in a set with the halter. Sizes are XS, S, M, L or XL or gladly custom made. We remained faithful to Tjalda and decided to knit by hand 🙂

Quite a lot of work has gone into this project once again, from the development, to the procurement of the right wool and of course the knitting itself. But I think it was worth it.
How do you like the sweaters to match the halter? And what do you think of the idea?
Who would like to have such a set, just write me via the contact form!!!
Gladly interested me as always your feedback on it !!!

    Love greetings, your Simone
