„Tjalda design tales are always coming directly from the herd that is surrounded by beautiful nature. Here I am getting my thoughts into the flow.“

The power of ther herd
A place full of piece, the herd. A shiny moon invites them to dream, which moon phase do we currently have? Two oft the herd take their time, just being, is what they want. Just resting, in the light oft the moon. Two oft he horses are watching out for the sun, enjoying the warm energy while the golden orange shiny light is inviting them playing in the powerful light. Under a glittering rainbow two of them are enjoying being close and feel.

Dancing along with Horses
And here you find the magical story of dancing along with horses – your dance with your horse. Actually isn`t this the reason why we are together with our horses? To share these moments together? These special ones derive, when we find true connection and come into that flow. Then, there is something to grow.
And exactly this little story, is told within the design „dancing along with horses“. Whenever we are meeting at eye level small miracles become possible.
Dancing along with Horses

Lopa Love
Authenthic icelandic horse wear is obliging 😉 Lopa is the abbreviation for Lopaeysa (= Iceland knit sweater) and love, because we simply love them. Indeed, we have been inspired by many Iceland knit sweaters for doing this design. The result is this typical pattern that suits to almost all icelandic horses!

The embossed leather Tölter is dedicated to our lovely fellows.

Lopa Love

Our horses want to be acknowledged for what they are. This is not, who is the prettiest but much more they would like to be known, and their character wants to be seen by us. Therefore Tjalda halters are unique. The woven ribbon tells different stories and situations and is always like a limited edition. As unique as your horse.
Tjalda is my great pleasure, I am running Tjalda on my own and I am honoured to work together with so many wonderful and talented people. Tjalda brings us all together. Altough „ I am doing“ the design, I am not even able to draw. I am the one who has the ideas and connection to the horses. Our different skills with the designer and photographer are combined and come together in the Tjalda company.
Your horses are supposed to feel comfortable. So we are only using material from German producers whenever it is possible. The neoprene is high quality and very soft and the metals are made of stainless steel.
Each halter is individually handmade in the Tjalda sewery. Also the matching ropes, which connects your horse with you, are individually handmade and designed for each design in a our plaiting workshop.
We will be really pleased to pass on your halter and rope to you and your horse!
Thank you!
