How do you create the stories on your Tjalda halters?

Tjalda, my little film is ready, one of the year projects !!!

 

Join me on my intuitive journey with the horses in the middle of beautiful nature.

Everything is connected, the horses with us humans and in general, all other animals and plants.

The stories on your halters, they arise just the same, from the simple togetherness. I don’t have to do anything except be. Then everything else comes naturally, and the ideas bubble up. There is no technology.

 

The movie day, however, was very exciting. Marlen König and Luke Ellerbrock came with camera and drone. The herd was really totally cool and very curious. Especially with the drone, you realize how hard a herd sticks together. That’s where everyone focuses on the “new”, what is it that we don’t know here yet? And yet they were all so turned towards each other. It was a huge amount of fun.

So thank you again dear Marlen and dear Luke, for this great time and this great film that you made possible for the community.

Being with the flock, reading their language, leading conclusions about me, where am I right now at this moment?

This is simply my great passion. So I have learned more and more to be a part of the herd, so to speak, through my many times in the herd.

In the meantime, I am also happy to pass on this knowledge.

For all those who simply want to understand their horse even better or perhaps even do not understand one or the other behavior, of the horse.

We are self-supporters, Kylia and Neisti stand with us in the neighboring village near my parents. Kylia has been with us since 2014, Neisti since 2015. We got the two with 4 and 2.5 years to us. Neisti was actually not for sale, but as it always is so…. I had already fallen in love with him when he was still a foal.

I just had to see him again and went to his breeder.

He then stood on top of a mountain, it was quite winding. I still have this picture in front of my eyes today – I just had to have him.

Neisti was also my soul comforter after the loss of my horse, who just left way too soon.

In my everyday life with them, I do ground work, walks and nice rides. As a self-supporter, there is of course a lot of work to do.

Why now Tjalda of all people ? The halters are super nice and very comfortable for our ponies. Especially for Neisti I also appreciate the different sizes, “normal” halters often do not fit him.

Soon there will be a surprise for you! Many have always asked me, how do I actually do it ? I go into the horse herd and then the horses whisper stories?

We have made a film about this, you will soon find out more….

In the context of the film shoot with Marlen König, who also conjures up incredibly beautiful images as a photographer, this little shoot was created. That was in between.

Glitfaxi wears Lopa Love II Olive and fits together with my film outfit super in our moorland with birch forest in the Wittmoor near Hamburg. So look forward to soon, there is then all the background about the film and how I spend my time with the horse herd greetings Simone

With the Icelandic Spring Collection we have finally brought it to life with us, the thorn buckle you have been longing for. It’s been quite a fiddle in the sewing workshop at our house. You know the buckle, but when you implement it for the first time, it is not so easy. After all, we have to find our “technique” first every time in the sewing workshop.

Unfortunately, we had also received the wrong eyelets in the first batch without realizing it and had to call in a return for replacement from some customers because the eyelets were not sturdy enough.

But now everything fits. The steps are quite laborious, but all the more stable now. Thus, the holes are punched and heated again so that nothing frays. The buckles and eyelets are of course full brass or stainless steel, so nothing can rust. We chose an elegant petite buckle, which looks quite classy.

In addition, we introduced a new store feature in our store last week. With this feature, you have the ability to click directly on a picture of the buckles and know exactly what to put in the cart. This was conjured up for us by the lovely Eva Frischling, who in addition to the many great pictures also works on the webshop. She dedicated a whole day to this task and of course she also shot the great picture with her clock and hand for Tjalda! Have fun shopping, now hopefully everyone knows what a sliding or thorn buckle is 🙂

New In the store is the power of the herd in ivory. We named the design “Pure” because with ivory nylon and a classy neoprene beige shade, it just adds to the design. Because the background of the motif is also held in a very fine beige tone.
